H.H. Scott
We specialize in repair (rarely needed) and alignment (every twenty years) of the superb H.H. Scott FM tuners and FM stereo multiplexers.
H.H. Scott
H.H. Scott made some of the most highly regarded FM tuners and decoders ever produced in the 1950s and 1960s using valve technology. The units were built to extraordinary standards and are practically bullet-proof in service. Scott's famous 'silver-sealed' oscillator sections don't require realignment even after 40 years, and the electronic parts used everywhere are also very high-quality and rarely seem to fail. We align and repair these terrific vintage units, and we can adjust them to the European/Asian 50us de-emphasis time constant (Scott only produced units for the North American 75us standard and didn't document how to alter the de-emphasis, but we have penetrated these mysteries).

Stereo Multiplex Adaptors
H.H. Scott produced the first FM Stereo Multiplexer to reach the market when FM stereo became a reality in the USA in 1961. The famous Scott 335 FM Multiplexer uses valve technology along with two balanced solid-state ring demodulators to deliver some of the best-sounding FM stereo you have ever heard.
